The National Youth Service Corps has approved Thursday, May 21, 2026, for the passing-out ceremony of 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II corps members across the country.

The scheme announced the date in a statement issued by its Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, noting that preparatory activities for the event will begin on May 5, 2026.

According to the statement, the activities will include job advisory and counselling sessions as well as final clearance processes coordinated by zonal inspectors.

It added that the passing-out exercise will be a low-key event, during which corps members will receive their Certificates of National Service at their respective local government areas.

The NYSC Director-General, Brig.-Gen. Olakunle Nafiu congratulated the corps members and urged them to uphold the values of discipline, patriotism, and service as they transition into post-service life.

The passing-out marks the completion of the one-year mandatory national service for members deployed in the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream II.
