2025 RECRUITMENT: STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO APPLY FOR CIVIL DEFENCE, IMMIGRATION, FIRE, AND PRISON JOBS
The Federal Government has opened the 2025 recruitment for various paramilitary agencies under the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB).
In a statement on Tuesday, the CDCFIB announced that the recruitment covers the following agencies:
Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS)
Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS)
Federal Fire Service (FFS)
Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)
Application Portal Opens June 26
Interested applicants can apply via the official portal https://recruitment.cdcfib.org, starting Thursday, June 26, 2025. The portal will remain open for three weeks.
Who Can Apply?
Age: 18 to 35 years
Citizenship: Must be a Nigerian
Height (Minimum):
Men: 1.65m with 0.87m chest
Women: 1.60m
Character: No criminal record or financial misconduct
Health: Must meet medical and physical standards
Educational Requirements
Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) with 4 or 5 credits including English and Mathematics
Holders of NCE, OND, HND, or university degrees in fields like Law, Medicine, or Technical areas are also welcome

Create an account using a valid email and phone number
Select an agency (only one): NSCDC, NIS, NCoS, or FFS
Choose a cadre:
Category A: Superintendent
Category B: Inspectorate
Category C: Assistant
Fill in your details: Bio-data, education, certificates, passport photo, ID, etc.
Review and submit the application
Download/print your acknowledgement slip
Important Notes
Only one application per person is allowed; multiple submissions will be disqualified
Application is free — beware of fraud
Computer literacy is an added advantage
The CDCFIB advises all eligible Nigerians to apply early and ensure they meet all listed requirements to avoid disqualification.
