Defending champions Liverpool will kick off the 2025/26 Premier League season with a Friday night fixture against Bournemouth at Anfield. One of the most anticipated games of the opening weekend sees Arsenal travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United on Sunday.

The full fixture schedule, released on Wednesday, confirms that Liverpool will raise the curtain on the new campaign on Friday, August 15.

Newly promoted Sunderland mark their return to the Premier League—after last featuring in the 2016/17 season—by hosting West Ham United on Saturday. Fellow returnees Leeds United and Burnley also face tough opening fixtures against Everton and Tottenham Hotspur, respectively.
