A man has stirred massive reactions online after claiming that most men do not end up marrying the women they truly desire.

In a trending video, he boldly stated that “80% of men don’t marry women they like. They marry women that can hold them down.”

Explaining further, he noted that while men may admire or feel strongly attracted to certain women, when it comes to marriage, many choose women who display qualities they believe will keep their homes stable.

He argued that this mismatch is one of the reasons divorce cases are on the rise. According to him, once the “character” or traits that convinced a man to marry a woman begin to change, walking away becomes easier.
