The Accord Party’s screening committee has officially screened and approved Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke to take part in its governorship primary holding today in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.

Elder Ibe Thankgod, the committee chairman and the party’s National Organising Secretary, confirmed that the governor successfully met all requirements needed for nomination and participation in the exercise.

He announced that the committee has cleared Governor Adeleke as the only aspirant seeking the party’s governorship ticket and has completed all necessary documentation with the appropriate authorities.

Elder Thankgod then presented Adeleke with a certificate of clearance, describing him as a credible and qualified aspirant for the party’s governorship slot.

In his response, Governor Adeleke thanked the committee and the party’s leadership, emphasizing his readiness to lead Accord Party to victory in 2026.

“I am prepared for the primary and equally ready for the general election. By God’s grace, we are winning,” he said.

Other members of the screening committee were Abdurahaman Muhammed, Abdulahi Sani Muhammed, and Mrs. Awogbade Rachael.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
