ACCORD UNVEILS OGUN CAMPAIGN COUNCIL, TARGETS 550,000 JOBS
The Accord Party in Ogun State has inaugurated its campaign council ahead of the 2027 governorship election and promised to create 550,000 jobs if elected.
The party unveiled the council as part of its preparations for the election and outlined plans focused on employment creation and workers’ welfare.
The party said its proposed employment programme would target different sectors of the state’s economy and seek to provide more opportunities for residents.
It also promised measures aimed at improving the welfare of workers and addressing economic concerns affecting households across Ogun State.
The campaign council is expected to coordinate the party’s activities, including grassroots mobilisation and engagement with voters ahead of the election.
The Accord Party joins other political parties already organising their campaign structures in preparation for the 2027 elections.
The party’s job-creation target forms part of its broader campaign promises to Ogun residents.
