Actress Doris Ogala has been released from police custody after spending two days in detention.

She was arrested on Saturday evening following her social media posts calling out Lagos-based pastor Chris Okafor, accusing him of allegedly deceiving her with a marriage promise, among other claims.

Her arrest triggered widespread reactions online, with several personalities, including VeryDarkMan, advocating for her release.

Celebrating her freedom, Doris took to Instagram on Monday afternoon to express her gratitude to human rights activist and politician Omoyele Sowore and VeryDarkMan for their support.

In her post, she wrote: “Thank you Sowore. Thanks so much to my ratel king.”
