The National Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Bolaji Abdullahi, has raised concerns that preparations for the 2027 general election may already be skewed in favor of manipulation.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Morning Brief on Friday, Abdullahi stated that the party would continue to alert Nigerians and the international community about what it sees as a threat to a fair electoral process.

He further criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government, saying it appears frustrated by opposition scrutiny and prefers that its decisions go unquestioned.

Abdullahi said: “The election of 2027 is all set to be rigged, and we will not stop saying that. We are not giving up. We have a voice, and we will use it.

“What you see about this APC government is that they seem irritated by the presence of an opposition. They seem to wonder, who are these people asking us questions? They would rather we remain silent, that nobody questions their actions.”
