Mali’s Boubou Traore will take charge as referee when the Super Eagles face Tunisia in a Group C clash at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday.
The highly anticipated fixture is set to hold at the Complexe Sportif de Fès.
At 34, Traore is regarded as one of Africa’s most experienced referees.
CAF has also confirmed the appointment of Senegal’s Issa Sy as Video Assistant Referee (VAR) for the match.
Both Nigeria and Tunisia will be aiming for victory to secure their spots in the Round of 16. The two former champions won their opening matches against Tanzania and Uganda, respectively.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 9:00 pm Nigerian time.
