ALAN PARDEW WARNS: MAN UNITED COULD FACE RELEGATION IF ISSUES PERSIST

Former Premier League manager Alan Pardew has made a bold claim — he believes Manchester United could face relegation in the upcoming 2025/2026 Premier League season if the club doesn't fix its internal problems, especially in defence.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Pardew expressed concern over United’s lack of improvement at the back and described the atmosphere at the club as chaotic. His comments were in response to a question about which top-flight side could shockingly drop into the relegation zone next season.

“All the teams in that bottom ten — including Man United — are at risk. Their big problem is stopping goals, and they haven’t really fixed that,” Pardew said.

He pointed to the club’s recent decision to ban five first-team players from training — including Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Tyrell Malacia, and Antony — calling it a “fire sale” that could hurt team morale.

Pardew said the decision sends the wrong message to the rest of the squad and could destabilize the team even further.

“There’s too much uncertainty and tension. That kind of environment doesn’t produce winning football,” he added.

With United fans already worried about the club’s recent performance struggles, Pardew’s comments have only added to the pressure on the club’s leadership to take urgent action ahead of the new season.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
