ALERT MICROFINANCE BANK LAUNCHES NEW LOAN CAMPAIGN
Alert Microfinance Bank has launched a Lagos-based campaign to promote its newly introduced CleanEarth Loan, targeting businesses within the water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) sector, as well as other environmentally conscious industries.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the bank revealed that the CleanEarth Loan offers medium-term financing to small and medium enterprises engaged in sustainable initiatives, including recycling, water purification, sanitary product manufacturing, and other climate-smart solutions.
Chief Executive Officer Raji Saheed noted that the campaign will kick off on the Lagos Mainland and gradually extend to other local government areas across the state.
“We are committed to ensuring that the CleanEarth Loan reaches businesses across all local government areas in Lagos, contributing to sustainable development at the grassroots level,” Saheed said.
According to the bank, the marketing campaign aims not only to create awareness about the CleanEarth Loan but also to actively engage with communities, carry out surveys, and explore additional opportunities to advance sustainability and identify potential corporate social responsibility initiatives.
In addition to funding, the bank is also providing digital tools such as free POS terminals, NQR pay-with-transfer, and scan-to-pay platforms to enhance financial inclusion and support the digital operations of beneficiary businesses.
According to the statement, the CleanEarth Loan aligns with Alert Microfinance Bank’s commitment to bridging the financial gap for businesses focused on environmental sustainability and helping Nigeria transition toward a greener economy.
Alert Microfinance Bank, a subsidiary of the Alert Group, has reaffirmed its commitment to youth empowerment with the launch of the second edition of its Career Bootcamp, aimed at equipping young Nigerians with essential financial and professional skills for today’s workforce.
In addition, the bank revealed plans to expand its ongoing marketing campaign for the CleanEarth Loan initiative to key areas such as Ikeja, Surulere, and Eti-Osa over the coming months.
