Ajayi Crowther University Alumni Unveil Website for Student Loans and Academic Services

The Ajayi Crowther University Alumni Association has launched a new website to facilitate student loan disbursement and streamline the processing of results and transcripts.

In a statement on Monday, the Alumni President, Busoye Ogunlade, highlighted the initiative as part of efforts to support students and enhance administrative efficiency.

“We have introduced various initiatives to ease the burden on students. This is why we developed a new website to assist them with loan disbursement, result processing, and transcript requests,” Ogunlade stated.

The alumni association’s newly launched website, www.acu-alumni.com, provides seamless access to institutional information and academic services.

“I encourage members to register on the website to facilitate the collation of names and the smooth disbursement of loans for small-scale businesses within the association,” Ogunlade said.

He also announced the establishment of new alumni branches in three countries—the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom—expanding the association’s global presence.

Additionally, new branches have been opened in Abuja, Lagos, and Ibadan to strengthen local engagement and support for alumni.

Ogunlade stated that the newly appointed alumni executives will oversee the association’s activities in the mentioned countries and states for the next three years. He emphasized that the new leaders are experienced professionals and senior public servants across various fields.

He highlighted the strong collaboration between the alumni association and the university, revealing plans to establish an endowment fund to support research initiatives and provide assistance to lecturers in an effort to curb brain drain.

Ogunlade acknowledged the institution’s management for its immense support, which played a key role in the successful launch of the new branches. He encouraged graduates to contribute to the university’s growth, especially as Ajayi Crowther University marks its 20th anniversary this year.

Calling for collective effort, he urged members to support the newly elected officials to ensure the effective execution of their responsibilities. He also charged the new executives to demonstrate exemplary leadership at all times.

"We invite all ACU alumni to extend their unwavering support to the executives in their respective countries and states, enabling us to navigate the challenges ahead with confidence," Ogunlade said.

"The support of members will empower the new teams to build a strong, efficient, and thriving alumni association for the benefit of both God and humanity."

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
