Angela Okorie Urges Fans to Embrace Kindness and Humility, Sends Message to Bloggers

Controversial Nollywood actress and singer Angela Okorie has taken to Instagram to share a heartfelt message about the values she believes the world needs more of—kindness and humility.

In a reflective post that struck a chord with many of her followers, Angela emphasized that real strength lies in how we treat others, especially when there’s nothing to gain. She reminded her fans that true leadership isn't about wielding power or hiding behind titles, but about using influence to uplift and inspire.

“If God has blessed you, life for you should be about how you treat people when there’s nothing to gain,” she wrote.
“True leaders don’t use status as a shield, they use it as a platform to lift others. Being kind doesn’t make you weak—it makes you trusted, respected, and remembered. Recognize that everyone matters—titles don’t define worth.”

Angela's message comes at a time when many celebrities are embracing vulnerability and authenticity on social media. Her words resonate with fans who admire her for staying grounded despite her controversial public persona.

However, in true Angela Okorie fashion, the actress didn’t hold back when addressing something that’s clearly been bothering her—low-quality content posted by bloggers.

In a follow-up note within the same post, she called out content creators and online platforms for using poor-quality phones to capture her at public events or outings. According to her, the images and videos posted online often don’t reflect how good she actually looks in person.

“Note: bloggers pls, when posting stuff about me on your pages, use a good phone,” she pleaded.
“I don’t understand why people will see me in real life and testify how good I look and my skin glows, then y’all are using wack ass phones to record me. I don’t like it.
Stop it now. I look good even in a broken mirror. No matter how you guys try to make me look on your wack ass pages, I fu*king look good. Give me some credit. Okay bye.”

Angela’s statement blends a dose of self-confidence with a not-so-subtle jab at the online media space—something her fans have come to expect from her unfiltered style.

Her post also comes amid an ongoing social media back-and-forth involving fellow actresses Regina Daniels and Mercy Johnson, with whom she’s recently had public disagreements. While Angela didn’t directly reference the drama, her comments about self-worth and not letting titles define people could be interpreted as a subtle continuation of that narrative.

Whether you love her boldness or question her approach, Angela Okorie’s message is loud and clear: stay kind, stay humble, and—if you're a blogger—get a better phone.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
