Nollywood actress Anita Joseph has raised questions about why some married men avoid wearing their wedding rings. In a recent Instagram post, the newly divorced star asked why men aren’t keen on flaunting their marital status, promising to share more quotes on the topic throughout the year.

She wrote, “But men, why una no dey wear una wedding tings? This year, una go hear quotes tire oh.”

Last year was a challenging period for Anita, who ended her five-year marriage to MC Fish. In December, she confirmed the divorce, reflecting on how life often tests our strength in unexpected ways, particularly within marriage. She shared that she has been navigating a period of deep reflection, pain, and healing, choosing grace, growth, and faith.

Sources revealed that the marriage faced significant personal and emotional challenges, including the loss of two pregnancies and experiences of domestic violence.

Following the divorce, Anita emphasized that she is single and not seeking a new relationship. She explained that while men have been reaching out to her, she needs time to focus on herself, noting that her eight years and eleven days of marriage cannot be measured in months.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
