APC SETS UP PLANNING, FINANCE, SECURITY COMMITTEES FOR BENUE STATE CONGRESS
The Benue State Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), under the leadership of Comrade Austin Agada, has constituted a Central Planning Committee alongside various sub-committees to ensure a smooth, transparent, and credible State Congress.
The initiative is in line with the constitutional guidelines for nationwide congresses recently approved by the APC National Working Committee.
For the Central Planning Committee, Ambassador Prof. Iorwuese Hagher was named Chairman, while Senator Titus Tartenger Zam will serve as Deputy Chairman. Other members include Senators Emmanuel Udende and Arc. Asema Achado; Engr. Prof. Joseph Terlumun Utsev; Hon. Terseer Ugbor; Barr. Cosmos Akighir; Hon. Dickson Tarkighi; Chief Mrs. Regina Akume (JP); Dr. Mathias Byuan; Barr. Pius Akutah; Princess Awuese Torher; Vincent Isegbe; Arc. Sunny Echonu; Engr. Nick Wende; Chief Philip Agbese; Rt. Hon. Sekav Iyortyom; Rt. Hon. David Ogewu; Daniel Ihomun; Comrade Dominic Alancha; and Barr. Danladi Ochekpe, who will act as Secretary.
The Finance Sub-Committee will be headed by Hon. Arc. Asema Achado, with Hon. Benedict Akombo, Barr. Cosmos Akighir, Arc. Sunny Echonu, and Chief Mrs. Helen Atom as members. Dr. Mathias Byuan will serve as Secretary.
Meanwhile, the Security Sub-Committee is chaired by Chris Tarka, supported by Chief Michael Msuaan; Hon. Arc. Asema Achado; Hon. Loverty Makyur; Capt. Hance Dim (Rtd); Henry Usha; Tersoo Ifi; Victor Okwe; and Terfa Samson Sende. Prince Abba Yaro will serve as Secretary.
