The Action Peoples Party (APM) senatorial candidate in Ogun State, Ambassador Ajadi, has distributed 500 bags of rice to residents in his senatorial district.

The distribution exercise took place on Friday across selected communities. The items were given to widows, youths, market women, artisans, and other vulnerable groups to help ease the current economic hardship.

While handing out the rice, Ambassador Ajadi said the gesture was part of his commitment to support the people and make life easier for them. He promised to sustain such interventions and do more if elected as senator in 2027.

Many of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude, describing the rice as a timely intervention that would help their families. Some praised Ajadi for remembering them during this difficult period.

The rice distribution forms part of Ambassador Ajadi’s ongoing outreach and empowerment programmes in the senatorial district as political activities ahead of the 2027 elections continue to gather momentum.

This latest move is expected to further boost his visibility and popularity among the grassroots ahead of the polls.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
