ASHON BACKS CSCS TRANSITION TO T+1 SETTLEMENT CYCLE

The Association of Stockbroking Houses of Nigeria (ASHON) has expressed support for the Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) move toward a T+1 settlement cycle.

The group said the transition will improve market efficiency, reduce settlement risks, and enhance investor confidence in the capital market.

Stakeholders are expected to collaborate on implementation frameworks.
