Atalanta manager Ivan Juric has confirmed that Ademola Lookman will not feature in their Serie A clash with Lecce on Sunday.
The Nigerian forward is yet to make an appearance for Atalanta this season due to an ongoing transfer standoff.
Despite being involved in Nigeria’s 2026 World Cup qualifying matches against Rwanda and South Africa last week, expectations that Lookman would return to the Atalanta squad have been dashed.
Juric explained that the winger is still unavailable for selection.
“Ademola will not be ready for tomorrow. It’s a truly unpleasant and difficult situation,” he told TMW.
