ATALANTA DEMAND €50M FOR ADEMOLA LOOKMAN AS EUROPEAN GIANTS CIRCLE
Italian club Atalanta have made their stance crystal clear—Ademola Lookman is not going anywhere this summer unless a mega offer is placed on the table. The Serie A side have slapped a hefty price tag of €45–€50 million on the in-form Nigerian forward, according to Italian outlet Le Bombe di Vlad.
While clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool, Barcelona, PSG, Juventus, and Napoli are all showing interest, none have submitted a bid that matches Atalanta’s valuation.
“Atalanta have already drawn a very clear line,” the report stated. “Lookman will only leave Zingonia in the event of a major offer—well above €30 million.”
The valuation is well-earned. Since joining Atalanta in 2022, Lookman has scored 55 goals and provided 25 assists across all competitions. He was instrumental in Atalanta’s historic UEFA Europa League victory last season, famously netting a hat-trick in the final. His stats in the 2024/25 season alone—20 goals and 7 assists—outshine several high-profile wingers also on the market.
Despite the buzz around his future, Lookman is not pushing for a move, and the club insists he remains central to their plans under new manager Ivan Juric. With two years left on his contract, Atalanta are in no rush to sell.
While Arsenal have rekindled their interest, sources say Lookman ranks third on their shortlist of winger targets, behind players like Eberechi Eze and Rodrygo. Barcelona also made initial contact but reportedly fell short of expectations.
Interestingly, although Atalanta are believed to have secured a potential replacement, they’re standing firm.
“Lookman’s departure is being considered only as an exceptional option,” the report added. “If any club truly wants him, they must prove it with an offer that leaves no room for doubt.”
For now, Atalanta fans can breathe easy—unless a top club breaks the bank, Ademola Lookman is staying in Bergamo.
