Former Vice President unveils interactive web platform designed to facilitate unfiltered citizen dialogue, question policy proposals, and examine public records

Former Vice President and political leader Atiku Abubakar has launched a dedicated citizen-engagement digital portal, named "Ask AA," designed to enable Nigerians to question him directly on his public record, economic strategy, and governance proposals ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In an official statement released by Phrank Shaibu, Director of Strategic Communication for the campaign council, the free-access platform was introduced to bridge the information gap between political leadership and the electorate by fostering direct, unfiltered dialogue.

Speaking during the online launch, Atiku stated that effective national leadership requires a continuous two-way conversation, asserting that the initiative aims to dismantle bureaucratic barriers that historically separate public officials from the citizens they serve.

The platform allows users to submit queries and constructive critiques spanning key national issues, including economic revival, national security, youth employment, technology policy, and cost-of-living interventions.

The campaign council further disclosed plans to integrate a complementary radio interface alongside the web portal, ensuring that rural communities and citizens in areas with limited internet connectivity can actively participate in the public forum.

Additionally, the former Vice President revealed that he will personally place phone calls to selected citizens who participate through the platform, seeking first-hand feedback on grassroots challenges to help refine his policy framework.
