AYODELE FAYOSE MEETS RASHIDI LADOJA AMID OYO TENSION
Former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose on Tuesday held a closed-door meeting with the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, lasting about 30 minutes.
The meeting comes amid rising political tension in Oyo State, following Fayose’s earlier allegations that Governor Seyi Makinde was planning to remove the monarch.
Speaking briefly before the meeting, Fayose said he was in Ibadan to “identify with the traditional institution,” adding that the truth surrounding the situation would soon be revealed.
The development also follows controversies over an alleged impeachment plot against Governor Makinde, reportedly linked to the traditional institution.
Details of the meeting were not disclosed as of the time of reporting.
