BAYERN CLOSE IN ON CHELSEA’S NICOLAS JACKSON AS ARSENAL LOAN OUT LAILA HARBERT

Bayern Munich is making moves in the transfer market and has reached an agreement on personal terms with Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson.

According to German outlet Bild, the Senegalese forward is keen on the switch, but Bayern must still finalize a deal with Chelsea before anything is confirmed. Reports suggest the Bundesliga champions are leaning towards a loan move, especially since sporting directors Max Eberl and Christoph Freund are restricted from signing an outright offensive player this summer. The deal could include an option to buy at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, on the women’s football front, Arsenal have confirmed that 18-year-old midfielder Laila Harbert has joined U.S. side Portland Thorns on loan until January 2026.

Harbert, who has been part of Arsenal since the age of nine, signed her first professional contract with the club earlier this year. She also gained valuable first-team experience last season during a loan spell at Southampton.

The promising midfielder will now continue her development in the U.S. National Women’s Soccer League, a move Arsenal believe will aid her growth and provide more competitive opportunities.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
