Tensions flared in the Big Brother Naija Season 10 house on Thursday night when an argument between housemates Zita and Rooboy spiraled out of control, leading to a shocking physical altercation.

The drama began during Team Pineapple’s task session, where Zita accused Rooboy of disrupting her group’s performance. She berated him for “blowing things out of proportion” and failing to manage situations properly.

Rooboy defended himself, insisting he had already apologised to his teammates. Seeking confirmation, he turned to other housemates:

“Sultana, Mensan, I no apologise to una?”

But Zita refused to accept his explanation, claiming he never apologised to her directly. Housemate Kola then weighed in, suggesting Rooboy’s apology may have been too general.

The heated exchange soon escalated into trading insults. Rooboy snapped, calling Zita “stupid.” She fired back, “You’re also very stupid, dumb ass man.”

The argument boiled over when Zita hurled a plate of Indomie at Rooboy. In retaliation, Rooboy struck her, leaving fellow housemates in shock.

Isabella quickly intervened, questioning Zita’s decision to provoke him by throwing food.

The altercation, which involved both physical violence and the hurling of an object, is expected to draw disciplinary action from the show’s organisers.

As in other global editions of the franchise, Big Brother Naija maintains a zero-tolerance policy for physical confrontations and behaviour that endangers housemates, meaning both Zita and Rooboy may face serious consequences.
