BISHOP OYEDEPO SHARES SHOCKING STORY OF HOW MARIJUANA WAS PLANTED IN HIS CAR IN 1987
Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has opened up about a shocking incident from 1987, revealing how marijuana was secretly planted in his car in Kaduna in an alleged attempt to frame him.
The clergyman shared the story in a viral video while addressing his congregation. According to him, the wrapped substance was discovered by his former driver, Clifford, who insisted on washing the car that morning.
Oyedepo recounted the unusual turn of events:
“Some fellows planted marijuana in my car in those days, 1987, in Kaduna, at the mechanical shop. I've never seen it in my life, so I wouldn't know.”
He explained that Clifford, who is now a pastor, returned from Katsina and offered to wash the vehicle. In the process, the driver removed the seats—something Oyedepo said he had never seen during a routine car wash.
It was then that Clifford stumbled upon a freshly wrapped package hidden inside the vehicle.
Filled with fear, the driver rushed to Oyedepo, trembling as he tried to explain what he had found.
“He said, ‘See, see, see.’ I asked, ‘What is it?’ He said, ‘That’s one of the things my wife plants behind the house. This is wee-wee.’ I said, ‘What is wee-wee?’”
Oyedepo noted that he had no experience with such substances, saying he found out what marijuana looked like only from that encounter.
The revelation has since stirred reactions online, with many expressing shock at how the young preacher could have been framed decades ago.
