Nigerian social media personality and crypto entrepreneur Linus Williams, popularly known as Blord, has spoken about his time at the Kuje Correctional Centre, offering a surprising description of the facility based on his personal experience.

In a recent interview shared online, Blord reflected on his stay in custody, commenting on what he described as the structure and conditions within certain sections of the prison facility.

According to him, parts of the correctional centre are more organised than many people might expect, especially sections reportedly reserved for high-profile detainees.

He claimed that he was accommodated in one of these designated areas during his time at the facility.

“Kuje looks like NYSC camp. Inside the camp they have VIP sections and that was where I was kept,” he said.

Blord further compared the environment to sections of the National Youth Service Corps orientation camps, suggesting that the experience was less harsh than the public might assume.

He also alleged that the area where he stayed was equipped with some household amenities and conveniences, adding that conditions there differed from general prison accommodation.

The comments have since generated reactions online, with many Nigerians debating the reality of detention conditions in the country’s correctional centres and the existence of so-called “VIP sections” within such facilities.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
