BREAKING: NATASHA APPEARS IN COURT FOR ALLEGED DEFAMATION AGAINST AKPABIO
Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central, arrived at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday morning for her second arraignment over allegations of defamation against Senate President Godswill Akpabio and former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello.
She was accompanied by her husband, Emmanuel Uduaghan, prominent activist Aisha Yesufu, and several supporters.
The case is being presided over by Justice Mohammed Umar of the Federal High Court.
This arraignment follows a similar charge brought against her on June 19, 2025, at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court.
During the last hearing, the judge denied the federal government's request to have the senator arrested for her absence at the trial.
More details to follow.
