BREAKING: NNPCL REDUCES FUEL PRICE AGAIN AMID MARKET ADJUSTMENTS
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has once more reduced the price of its premium motor spirit (PMS).
Observations across Abuja on Monday morning revealed that NNPCL retail outlets have lowered their fuel price to ₦815 per litre, down from ₦835, representing a ₦20 cut.
The new price has been applied at NNPCL filling stations in Wuse Zones 4 and 6, along Keffi-Abuja Road, and on the Kubwa Expressway. An attendant at one of the stations, who wished to remain anonymous, confirmed that the adjustment took effect on Sunday evening.
However, the N815 per litre price is still ₦79 higher than the ₦739 per litre currently sold at MRS filling stations backed by Dangote Refinery nationwide.
NNPCL had previously reduced its petrol price by ₦80 to ₦835 on December 19, 2025, amid intensified competition in the country’s oil downstream sector, triggered by Dangote Refinery’s gantry price cut to ₦699 per litre.
