CAC ADDRESSES STAMP DUTIES PAYMENT GLITCH, PROMISES QUICK FIX AND NEW AI FEATURES
The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has assured users that it is working to fix ongoing issues with Stamp Duties payments on its online platform portal.
In a statement released on Friday via its official X (formerly Twitter) handle, the CAC explained that the issue is linked to the rollout of its newly upgraded system, which is more advanced than the platforms used by some of its partner agencies.
“Please be assured that this matter is receiving the urgent attention of engineers from both agencies involved, and a permanent solution is almost in place,” the Commission said.
The CAC also revealed that it is putting finishing touches on a new AI-powered post-incorporation system for Business Names. This upgrade will make processes easier for business owners, including the filing of Annual Returns directly on the platform.
According to the Commission, the Annual Returns feature is expected to be live by the weekend, offering users a smoother and faster online experience.
With these updates, the CAC says it remains committed to making business registration and compliance in Nigeria more seamless and technology-driven.
