CARDI B MOVES TO END RIFT WITH LATTO
American rapper Cardi B has publicly expressed a desire to mend her fractured relationship with fellow rapper Latto, following renewed attention on their long-running fallout.
The tension between the two artists resurfaced after Latto confirmed that lyrics on her new song “Gimme Dat” referenced Cardi B and their past disagreement. The dispute stems from a leaked 2025 phone call in which Cardi made remarks about Latto, prompting a public apology from the Grammy-winning rapper.
Responding on social media, Cardi said she had made several attempts to reconcile privately and maintained that she never intended to harm Latto. She added that she chose to apologize publicly because the controversy had become public.
Latto, while discussing the issue in a recent interview, acknowledged that Cardi had apologized both publicly and privately. However, she said the fallout affected their friendship and that the relationship has not fully recovered.
Despite the lingering tension, both artists have indicated a willingness to move forward, fueling speculation that the feud may finally be nearing an end.
