Tension gripped the Big Brother Naija Season 10 house on Thursday night when a disagreement between housemates Zita and Rooboy spiraled into a physical altercation following a team task.

The clash started during Team Pineapple’s session, where Zita accused Rooboy of disrupting her group’s performance. She faulted him for “exaggerating issues” and being unable to manage situations effectively.

Rooboy, however, defended himself, saying he had already apologized to the team. Turning to fellow housemates for confirmation, he asked, “Sultana, Mensan, I no apologise to una?”

Zita, unconvinced, argued that his apology was never directed at her personally. Kola later weighed in, suggesting that Rooboy’s apology might have been general rather than specific.

The verbal spat quickly escalated as both hurled insults at each other. Rooboy called Zita “stupid,” and she fired back, “You’re also very stupid, dumb ass man.”

As tempers flared, Zita warned, “Don’t piss me off, Rooboy,” to which he retorted, “If I piss you off, what are you going to do?”

The situation boiled over when Zita flung a plate of Indomie noodles at him. In response, Rooboy struck her, leaving fellow housemates in shock.

Isabella immediately confronted Zita, questioning why she provoked Rooboy by throwing food at him.

The incident, involving both physical assault and the throwing of an object, is likely to attract disciplinary action from the show’s organizers. Big Brother Naija, like other international versions of the franchise, maintains a zero-tolerance policy against physical violence or conduct that endangers housemates.
