Hollywood star Charlie Sheen has openly shared details about his past s*xual experiences with men, describing the admission as “liberating” after years of secrecy and extortion.

In his upcoming memoir The Book of Sheen and Netflix documentary aka Charlie Sheen, the 60-year-old actor explained that he began exploring relationships with men during his years of drug use.

“Liberating. It’s f---ing liberating … just to talk about stuff,” Sheen said in the documentary. “A train didn’t come through the side of the restaurant, a piano didn’t fall from the sky. Life goes on.”

The former Two and a Half Men star admitted that his encounters began after he started smoking crack. “Some of it was weird. A lot of it was fun, and life goes on,” he added.

Sheen also revealed that for years he was pressured into silence through extortion, as people threatened to expose his secrets. “I felt held hostage. It’s a bad feeling,” he told Good Morning America.

The actor, who went public in 2015 with his HIV diagnosis, said he contracted the virus during his drug-fueled years but stressed that he never transmitted it to anyone.

Now sober since 2017, Sheen says he is focused on healing, making amends, and refusing to let his past define him. “I’m not going to run from my past or let it own me. It takes two to tango,” he said.

Sheen’s memoir will be released on September 9, followed by the Netflix documentary on September 10.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
