Chelsea and Manchester United have confirmed transfer updates involving two of their promising youngsters — Omari Kellyman and Ethan Williams.

Chelsea announced on Monday that 19-year-old midfielder Omari Kellyman has joined Cardiff City on a season-long loan. Kellyman, who moved to Stamford Bridge from Aston Villa last summer, spent last season playing for the club’s Under-21s in Premier League 2 and the Premier League Cup. The loan move to League One is expected to give him valuable first-team experience.

Meanwhile, Manchester United confirmed that Ethan Williams has signed a new long-term contract before sealing a loan move away from Old Trafford. The 19-year-old forward extended his stay with United until 2028, with the option of an additional year.

Williams will spend the season in Scotland with Falkirk, marking his second loan spell after a productive time at Cheltenham Town in League Two, where he scored his first senior goals.
