CHELSEA SELL GOALKEEPER PETROVIC TO BOURNEMOUTH
Chelsea have officially confirmed that goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic has completed a permanent transfer to Bournemouth.
The announcement was made on Wednesday via the club’s official website, marking the end of Petrovic’s brief time with the Blues.
The Serbian shot-stopper joined Chelsea in the summer of 2023 from New England Revolution. During his first season at Stamford Bridge, he made 31 appearances across all competitions.
Last season, Petrovic was sent out on loan to Strasbourg in France’s Ligue 1, where he gained more playing time and experience.
Chelsea thanked the 25-year-old for his contributions during his stay at the club and wished him success in his new chapter at Bournemouth under manager Andoni Iraola.
The move is part of a broader summer reshuffle as new Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca continues to shape his squad for the upcoming season.
We wish Petrovic all the best in his Premier League journey with the Cherries!
