CHIEF PRIEST SAYS NO MORE WASTED VOTES, ALIGNS WITH TINUBU ADMINISTRATION
Popular socialite and businessman Cubana Chief Priest has admitted that not supporting Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the last general election was a political miscalculation. He revealed that he is now embracing a new approach focused on collaboration with the federal government.
Speaking at a political gathering in Imo State, Chief Priest described the event as the culmination of weeks of planning and a symbol of growing unity and support for the current administration.
He explained that years of political opposition had not yielded the desired results, prompting a change in strategy.
“We have decided to partner with the government at the center. We are not ready to fight. We tried fighting and it didn’t work for us,” he said.
The entrepreneur also praised Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma for fostering a close relationship with the federal government, noting that such cooperation has driven development in the state.
Chief Priest commended Seyi Tinubu for his role as a unifying figure, helping to strengthen ties across ethnic and regional lines. Reflecting on the last election, he acknowledged his previous opposition to Tinubu, describing it as a strategic error.
“Politics is a game… we don’t want to lose again, and we will never waste our votes again,” he added.
He further suggested that the growing support for the president could evolve into one of the country’s largest political movements, promising stronger mobilisation ahead of future elections.
Chief Priest concluded by offering prayers for Tinubu’s success in office and called on Nigerians to embrace unity, cooperation, and partnership as the nation progresses.
