CRISTIANO JR CALLED UP BY PORTUGAL UNDER-15S.
On Tuesday, Cristiano dos Santos, the 14-year-old son of five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo, earned his first call-up to Portugal’s Under-15 national team.
Currently playing for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia like his father, Cristiano Jr. has also spent time at youth setups of Ronaldo’s former clubs, Manchester United and Juventus.
The Portuguese U-15 team will compete in the Vlatko Markovic youth tournament in Croatia from May 13 to 18, facing Japan, Greece, and England.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who remains a Portugal international at 40 and holds the record as Real Madrid’s all-time leading goal scorer, is a father of five. He played a pivotal role in Portugal’s historic Euro 2016 triumph—their first major trophy—despite being forced off early in the final against France due to injury.
