Manchester United’s new signing, Matheus Cunha, has shared the special advice he received from Brazilian legends Ronaldinho and Ronaldo Nazario before sealing his move to Old Trafford.

Cunha joined United from Wolves earlier in the summer, and the Brazilian forward says both icons were full of praise for the club and encouraged him to take the opportunity.

Speaking with Sky Sports, Cunha recalled his chat with Ronaldinho:

“Ronaldinho just said, ‘Wow, it’s one of the biggest clubs in the world. You deserve this opportunity. It’s an unbelievable club.’”

The 25-year-old striker also revealed what Ronaldo told him about the move, highlighting the unique atmosphere at Old Trafford.

“Ronaldo talked about the amazing atmosphere around Old Trafford and the fans. It made me feel like it was the perfect move for me. After hearing from them, I was fully convinced.”

Cunha has already featured in United’s opening Premier League matches against Arsenal and Fulham, as he begins his journey with the Red Devils.

With the backing of Brazilian greats and the faith of his new club, United fans will be hoping Cunha can live up to the hype and bring goals to Old Trafford this season.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
