The Minister of Defence, Badaru Mohammed, has resigned from his position with immediate effect.
His resignation was communicated in a letter addressed to President Tinubu, dated December 1.
The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, confirmed the development on Monday.
According to the presidential spokesman, Mohammed stepped down due to health reasons.
