DELTA STATE CREATIVE & ENTERTAINMENT SUMMIT 2.0 SET TO LIGHT UP ASABA THIS JULY
The vibrant city of Asaba is gearing up for a spectacular celebration of talent, creativity, and innovation as the Delta State Creative & Entertainment Summit 2.0 is set to hold this July. The event, organized by the Office of the Special Assistant to the Governor on Entertainment, follows a highly successful debut edition held at Unity Hall, Government House, last year.
This second edition promises to be bigger, better, and bolder, bringing together leading voices in Nigeria’s creative and entertainment industries, government officials, and young talents from across the state.
A star-studded lineup will headline the summit, including veteran comedian Gordons, music star Harrysong, top comedian AY, and Mavin Records President Tega Oghenejobo. Also making a grand appearance is Delta’s own Victor AD, while Nollywood legend Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) will be returning for his second year at the event.
Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori is expected to grace the occasion as a special guest, alongside other top government and industry leaders.
Speaking on the event, the Special Assistant on Entertainment, Amb. Prayer Pemu, revealed that this year’s summit would feature a skills acquisition and training program tailored to empower creatives and aspiring talents across the state. This initiative aligns with the Governor’s MORE Agenda, focused on youth empowerment, job creation, and sustainable economic development.
With creative energy, strategic conversations, and networking opportunities all packed into one powerful summit, Asaba is set to become the center of Nigeria’s entertainment spotlight once again.
The date will be officially announced soon, but one thing is clear: Asaba is about to come alive this July.
