Renowned Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Cuppy, has announced that she is taking a break from social media.

The music star made the disclosure on X while sharing her New Year resolutions with fans, explaining that the decision was driven by a need for personal reflection and spiritual renewal.

According to her, the break is intended to give her quiet time to “reset and reconnect,” both with herself and with God.

“I’m taking a short break from social media. I need some quiet time with myself and time being hidden with God. I’m okay — I’m just taking a moment to reset and reconnect. I will be back,” she wrote.

DJ Cuppy further revealed that she has embarked on a 21-day fasting period as part of efforts to address personal matters and properly align herself for the year 2026.
