Nigerian music producer Don Jazzy has donated ₦6 million to female footballer Abisola Fakiyesi for knee surgery.  Fakiyesi, a Naija Ratels player, sustained a torn ACL during a match in November 2022 and sought financial help online.  Don Jazzy responded by covering the full cost of her surgery.  

Fakiyesi had been in pain for over a year, using crutches and wearing a knee brace.  Her club, Naija Ratels, reportedly demoted her and reduced her salary without providing medical care.  After sharing her story on social media, Don Jazzy transferred the funds and wished her a speedy recovery.  

This act of generosity has been widely praised, highlighting Don Jazzy's commitment to supporting those in need.
