DON’T BURY A MAN IN THE ONLY HOUSE HE BUILT - BUSINESSMAN WALE JANA TELLS LATE TOLUWANISING’S FAMILY

Businessman Wale Jana has urged the family of late gospel singer Toluwanisings to reconsider plans to bury him at his newly built home in Ibadan, saying the property could provide financial security for his widow and children.

The singer’s death on October 14, 2026, has led to a disagreement over his burial location. His father wants him buried at the house, while his widow, Elizabeth, opposes the plan.

In a social media post, Jana argued that the family should consider how the decision could affect the singer’s wife and two daughters.

He described the house as a major investment that could generate rental income or be sold if the family needed financial support. In his view, burying the singer there could make those options more difficult.

Jana said maintaining the property could also become challenging for the widow following the loss of the family’s breadwinner.

He suggested that the family choose a suitable private cemetery instead, allowing the house to remain available for the needs of the singer’s dependants.

The businessman urged those involved to prioritise the long-term welfare of Toluwanisings’ wife and children when deciding where he should be laid to rest.
