EDO NORTH YOUTHS BACK OSEREI FOR ASSEMBLY SEAT
The Edo North Caucus of the National Youth Assembly of Nigeria has endorsed Dandy Oserei as its preferred candidate for the Edo State House of Assembly seat representing Owan East Constituency.
The endorsement was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday and signed by the caucus leader, Maka Achogbor, following what the group described as wide consultations among youth stakeholders in Edo State.
According to the group, Oserei, former Secretary of the Edo State Lottery Regulatory Commission, was selected based on his performance in office, transparency, and contributions to revenue generation for the state.
The youths said their support reflects a broader push for increased youth inclusion in governance and leadership positions across the state.
They added that the endorsement was unanimous and represents the collective aspirations of young people in Owan East Constituency.
The group also urged youths in the area to remain politically engaged and support credible leadership that prioritises development and empowerment.
