Veteran Nollywood actress Efe Orhorha has opened up about her unexpected journey to a lasting marriage with her actor husband, highlighting how fate and a divine bond brought them together. Reflecting on their 20-year union, Efe admitted she never imagined ending up with an actor, but believes it was all part of God’s plan. She described their connection as deeply spiritual, making it easy for her to say “I do.”

Efe recalled meeting her husband at a birthday party, where he was performing while she was just an intern. She also remembered how he supported her during her mother’s funeral rites—long before either of them thought they would one day become life partners.

Coming from a family with roots in the film industry, Efe shared that both her late parents were involved in Nollywood. Her husband had been close to her mother, which gave him the opportunity to get closer to her as well.

With a career spanning over two decades, Efe advised that marrying a friend is one of the secrets to a strong marriage.
