Chelsea have confirmed the squad number for new signing Alejandro Garnacho following his move from Manchester United.

The 21-year-old winger, who completed his switch to Stamford Bridge last Saturday, has been handed the No.49 shirt for the new Premier League season.

Garnacho was in attendance at Stamford Bridge last weekend to watch his new teammates secure a 2-0 win over Fulham, and he is now set to play his part in Chelsea’s campaign.

Speaking after his unveiling, the Argentina international expressed excitement about the new challenge.
