The Premier League enters Matchday 5 with fans bracing for thrilling encounters and possible upsets. The highlight game of the weekend is Arsenal vs Manchester City at the Emirates on Sunday, but there are three other fixtures where surprises could unfold.

1. Liverpool vs Everton (Merseyside Derby)

Liverpool is the only side with a perfect record so far, winning all four matches. But rivals Everton, rejuvenated under David Moyes and boosted by new signing Jack Grealish, sit sixth on the table and look sharp. The Toffees could spring a surprise at Anfield.

2. Manchester United vs Chelsea

Ruben Amorim is already under pressure after United’s 3–0 derby defeat to City. With just four points from four games, another loss could drag the Red Devils into relegation territory. Chelsea, however, will smell blood and could leave Old Trafford with more than a point.

3. Brighton vs Tottenham

Tottenham under Thomas Frank has been solid, winning three out of four and conceding just once. But Brighton, managed by Fabian Hurzeler, has already shocked Manchester City at the Amex. Spurs must be careful not to be the next scalp.

This weekend promises drama, and football fans know — in the EPL, nothing is guaranteed.
