Crystal Palace are reportedly set to cut short Christian Uche’s loan when the transfer window reopens in January.

The Nigeria international joined Selhurst Park from Spanish side Getafe during the summer, in a deal that includes a €20m obligatory purchase clause if he makes 10 starting appearances this season.

However, Uche has yet to start a Premier League game under Oliver Glasner, making only three substitute appearances so far.

Spanish sources now indicate that Palace are considering sending the 22-year-old back to Getafe in January.

Uche impressed for Getafe last season, scoring four goals and providing six assists in 33 league appearances.
