A real estate and hospitality expert has called on the Federal Government and private investors to create better conditions for investment in Nigeria’s property and hospitality sectors.

The expert said stronger collaboration between government and the private sector would help unlock the potential of real estate, tourism, and hospitality as major drivers of economic growth.

He noted that Nigeria’s growing population and expanding urban centres continue to create demand for housing, hotels, serviced apartments, and other property-related services.

According to him, investors need a more predictable business environment, improved infrastructure, easier access to financing, and policies that encourage long-term investment.

He also urged the government to address challenges such as high construction costs, inadequate infrastructure, multiple regulations, and difficulties in accessing affordable capital.

The expert said improved road networks, electricity supply, security, and urban planning would make more locations attractive to property developers and hospitality operators.

He further encouraged investors to explore innovative financing models and develop projects that respond to changing consumer needs.

The expert maintained that partnerships between government, developers, financial institutions, and other stakeholders could accelerate investment and create jobs.

He said sustained investment in real estate and hospitality would not only support economic activity but also contribute to tourism development, employment generation, and improved living standards.

The call comes amid growing interest in Nigeria’s property and hospitality markets, as investors seek opportunities in sectors with strong long-term demand.
