The management of Prime Care Hospitals has issued a public disclaimer debunking reports that influencer King Mitchy died at its Abuja facility.

In a statement posted on its official Instagram page, the hospital described the claim as false, clarifying that Mitchy was never admitted as a patient and did not pass away at the hospital. The management added that it is collaborating with relevant authorities to trace the origin of the misinformation and plans to pursue legal action against those responsible. It also urged the public to confirm sensitive updates through verified channels before sharing.

According to the statement, the alleged announcement of Mitchy’s death at the hospital was entirely inaccurate, stressing that no such incident occurred within its premises in Abuja.

Earlier, Mitchy’s management had announced her passing, expressing deep sorrow and describing her as vibrant and full of promise. The news came amid intense online controversy linked to her public dispute with social media activist Very Dark Man, who had made allegations involving Seyi Tinubu.

Authorities are expected to continue investigations as conflicting accounts surrounding the circumstances of her death circulate online.
