Nigerian rapper and actor, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has addressed the wave of marriage rumors that trailed him after a set of wedding-themed photos he shared online went viral.

Many fans were convinced the images were from his secret traditional wedding, sparking widespread speculation across social media. However, Falz has now clarified that the pictures were simply from a creative photoshoot project and not from an actual ceremony.

Reacting via his Instagram page, the rapper jokingly noted that the frenzy might affect how people react when he eventually decides to marry.

“When everybody realized I wasn’t really married, people kept saying it’s like the boy who cried wolf. Maybe when I do get married, nobody will care,” he teased.

Falz also stressed that marriage is a personal milestone he isn’t obliged to share with the public. Still, he hinted that if true love pushes him, he may one day choose to make his marriage public.

“It is bold of you to assume that if I’m actually getting married, I will share it,” he added with a laugh.

For now, fans will have to wait — as Falz remains focused on his music and acting career, while keeping his private life firmly under wraps.

"This represents a significant development in our ongoing coverage of current events."
