FIREBOY DML: I’M NOT BOTHERED ABOUT MUSIC RANKINGS
Nigerian singer Fireboy DML has shared his thoughts on how he is ranked within the music industry, saying such ratings do not matter to him.
Speaking on an episode of the 90s Baby podcast, the Peru crooner said he is unconcerned about how critics or music enthusiasts place him among other artistes. According to him, the opinions of his fans matter far more.
Fireboy noted that he is satisfied with the loyalty and support he receives from his listeners, stressing that some of them already see him as the best musician in the world.
“I don’t really care about Top 5 or Top 10, as long as I have fans who rate me. I know there are fans who think I’m the best artiste in the world, and that is good enough for me. I’m a very contented person,” he said.
